QUICK COUNCIL
ASSEMBLED IN ONE WEEK
A one-time board assembled to address a single problem for the company while providing ideas and a plan to move forward.
STEP 1: DEFINE THE NEED
30 minutes
Characterize the problem that is most pressing for your business with a Principal Member of ABG. Decide background or skill set of advisors that would be most helpful in clearing this hurdle.
STEP 2: FIND THE RIGHT ADVISORS
One week
ABG schedules a meeting with experienced advisors that can help reach your goal.
STEP 3: DEVELOP PROBLEM STATEMENT
60 minutes
Work with ABG Principal Member to draft a two page document that clearly describes the problem statement with relevant background information.
STEP 4: ATTEND THE MEETING
90 minutes
The ABG Principal Member will run the meeting so you can actively participate and help to uncover paths forward to clear the hurdle.

STEP 3: ASSEMBLE BOARD
6-8 weeks
We work behind the scenes to find board members that fit your culture, fill the gaps and balance the future boardroom.
STEP 4: FINALIZE ROSTER
3-4 hours
Your CEO reviews the complied summaries, meets the candidates and picks his/her favorites.
STEP 5: ACCELERATE YOUR COMPANY
Over the next 2 years
A Principal Member of ABG will participate on your board for at least the first full year in order to accelerate performance and facilitate cohesion between your team and your new board. In order to fully engage your leadership in a growth mindset, each of them can be paired with an ABG board member for one-on-one coaching at no extra cost.
STEP 6: REFRESH YOUR BOARD
After 2 years
When 2-year board tenures expire, you can choose to renew a member or if you’d prefer to infuse new blood, ABG will find another A player to fill the seat.
WHAT AN ONGOING BOARD DOES FOR YOU
Pulls management out of the day-to-day and keeps them focused on the stated vision.
Advises and holds the management team accountable to execution of a clear and disciplined plan with one-on-one coaching.

If changes need to be made because a board member is deemed a bad fit, chances are the ABG Principal Member will notice it before you. If any board member fails to complete their 2-year term for any reason, we will replace them at no cost to you.
